This is what I do to killing time,

having fun with typography.

I really love lettering - manual or digital - both are fun!

I made this one in January

when I've got a pastel colors fever especially peach and mint color,

To me, greeting card is perfect with

a silly-and-dumb-faced-cat with party hat.

Why?

Because they are cute and ready to party hard with you *lol*

What you gonna do or give to a birthday buddy who live far far away from you? 

Yay for digital card! :D

I made this one for Ryan Tandya, my friend who live in other town and currently working in NPM Photography.

Kinda embarrassing to send him a card with my own illustration actually XD

He is one of some very talented person I ever knew (in real life),

His works are amaaaazing,

His illustration (manual or digital, both are jaw dropping),

His photography and fashion too.

You can see his very own style in every works of him. 

A whole world should know him, and it will happen one day.

Same case, another friend who live in other town just getting older ;)

This one is for Krishna Pradana,

(another friend means another talented friend *whoop*)

He has a very good sense of fashion and photography,

simplicity is really his style.

The cool part is he has his own shoes brand for men called S.Woonderland.

Note: Shoes are made only for fashionable men who pay attention to details and appreciate the quality of the shoes.

♥ Quote of the day ♥

As a typography lover, of course I do love to read lots of quotes,

about anything,

Love, life, family, funny, even horoscope (I'm a proud Scorpion *lol*)

This quotes,

"Fall So Fast, Crash So Hard"

is for my friend who falling in love too fast with someone.

*ahem*

Still in my favorite pastel color, minty and peachy.

A greeting card for friend who had to celebrate her birthday in the hospital :0

I don't really know what is her favorites,

So I go with flower pattern and a cute brown bunny,

I hope it can cheer her up when she's looking at this card..

Stefanie is my super busy friend, she is the most hard worker girl I've ever met.

Can't imagine how her life is, traveled around the world for works.

It's sounds fun but I'll never know it :S

Anyway, she is the owner of Pizza en Bier located at Surabaya Town Square.

Cool right ;)

(Oh, I did some mural in her place too,

I don't really like the result *lol* but, check it below)

I just got a very fun job,

making illustration for a kid and baby clothing line,

Jaime & Jaimie

The color must be pastels

with kiddy stuff like teddy bear

also

homey and warm look :)

So I go with this,

♥ Pastel Frames ♥

Two Birds in the middle frame is their logo, isn't it cute? :)

For a homey and warm look, I add "Home Sweet Home" quotes

and heart shaped stitch,

Moon and stars as a picture of sweet dream,

Teddy bear and a cup of hot chocolate - 2 things that kid loves.

Actually I make 2 alternatives for the coloring,

#1 solid color and #2 with gradient,

But I prefer to post the gradient one

( I like the pastel rainbow combination on the middle frame! *boom*)

Oh, before I tell the details,

I draw this Mini Me in a different style.

It's more.. tidy.. and umm.. solid.. (what kind of explanation is that!?) XD

Anyway, Let me know which one you like better.

So,

Patrick has a same job like me - graphic designer,

has a same favorite character like me- TINTIN!

His favorite animal is deer and giraffe (have no idea why),

And actually he loves so many movie, comic, or cartoon characters,

but I go with Tintin, Paul Frank and Stormtrooper

(because I love 'em too *haha* but who doesn't know Star Wars & Tintin?)

He is holding a Little Black Book note with "Forgive me for I have sinned" quote (it's pretty happening in Jakarta - Indonesia, it's unique and has some character than any other note book),

I add a famous rocket from Adventures of Tintin Destination Moon

(I suggest you to read the comic or watch the movie!),

And the last thing,

Patrick's obsession is SHOES.

He loves his New Balance shoes so much,

and the one I draw here is his pride I think.. XD

She is a tea lover with a passion in fashion,

She is Audrey and she is my Mini Me client!

Here's the preview,

Audrey's favorite color is purple.

She really enjoying hot tea (all flavor!),

and for an unexplained reason, she's got a crush on bunny these days so I draw a cute bunny on her teacup.

Crop tee and houndstooth skirt is her latest fever on fashion.

She has some skill in decorating table set and it means she can make a pretty flower bouquet too!

There is 3 dogs in her house now, but she want me to draw just one of them and the choosen one is Shiro :3

He is a fat, fluffy and super spoiled buddy!

(I really enjoyed drawing animals, I can't get enough to draw some more!)

T.G.I.F!

My first Mini Me client is a couple! and they're just engaged this year! and going to marry next year! *woot*woot*

What a double happiness :D

Anyway, this is the result,

Let me tell you the details about this happy couple,

First, look at that diamond ring!

*lol*

I really getting along with 'romantic' theme since they're just engaged

(and I know I keep mentioned 'engaged' words again and again)

So, don't you think the purple orange as the background color is just perfect for this love birds? ;)

I even added some glowing stars and hearts to sparks the romantic evening theme!

Their clothes was based from the last time I had a dinner with them,

Debi with blue dress, black heels and leopard purse (but no, she didn't wear that leopard ears headband that night. She just bought it about two months ago.)

Zefa with light blue shirt, black pants and his work shoes, just like a good ordinary worker :D

They love to watch movies at the cinema

that's why I draw some pop corn and film roll for the last touch.

♥ Mini Me Customize Illustration ♥

 ☞ MINI ME CUSTOMIZE ILLUSTRATION ☜

HELLO! 

I'm working on some commissioned customize illustration now called Mini Me.

Actually I prefer to draw animals rather than human (you know,people sucks! lol) but unexpectedly it's pretty fun to draw something really random from people's orders.

It's meaningful for them but it's super random for me and I love it *giggle*

Let me show you my Mini Me werks,

That's me :D

Yes, my hair is black and long and messy (and dry, and damaged lol) just like that.

I'm wearing my favorite clothes, black plain tee, plaids long sleeve shirt and jeans pants,

and all time favorite black sneakers.

With two important cats on my life right now,

The fat fluffy brown one is Prince Kuba - my best friend's cat

and the tiny black & white one is Tobiko Houndstooth - we saved him from evil street life.

I added my favorite silly stuff up there,

Typography of my motto ''You Can't Rush Art",

Rose, oh I love roses and I do have some roses tattoos,

A cup of tea or coffee (Caffeine is in my blood),

A cute little ghost (I enjoyed horror movies, but who doesn't melt when lookin' at that little marshmallow buddy? :P ),

An owl (Actually I can add more animals there since I love animals, but well, I also have an owl tattoo on my back),

Some navy/nautical stuff such diamond, anchor and sailor hat.

2. Tell me your favorite stuff such a movie, food, drinks, flower, gadget, game, make up, etc for a theme in the illustration.

3. If you want a specific thing such as your pets (so I can draw you hug them!), your favorite clothes, etc, don't forget to send me the picture of it.

4. Typography include. If you want your name, initial, favorite quotes or poems or lyrics, just write it correctly.

5. The fun part is, I'm not an realistic illustrator, so if you want a pair of cat ears or mustache, or pirate eye patch on your illustration later, let me know!

6. Mini Me fee : 200k for a single Mini Me like the example above and +50k for additional person such a couple or family
